Hadley Wood Golf Club has had a Junior Section since 1922 and with over 50 boys and nearly 20 girls as members, it continues to thrive. The Club is especially proud that it has a significantly higher number of girl members than both the County and National averages for golf clubs.
The Junior Section boasts some very good low handicap golfers but all new members are welcome regardless of their level of skills. It meets regularly and there are several competitions throughout the year. Junior Members with an official handicap may also play in all Senior competitions.
The Club’s aims are to provide an opportunity for juniors to play golf in a friendly and social environment, and to introduce them to competitive golf and to the rules and etiquette of the game.
The Club has achieved the GOLF MARK accreditation for the JUNIOR Section from the Golf Foundation.
