Hadley Wood Golf Club aims to operate a contemporary and forward thinking dress code policy, commensurate with a modern day golf club. It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions. Golfers at Hadley Wood are therefore asked to adhere to the following both on the golf course and in the clubhouse.

On the course

All shirts must be recognised golfing attire comprising of sleeves, collars or turtle necks, which must be tucked in. Football/rugby type shirts and tops with hoods are not permissible. Tailored shorts or trousers are acceptable however denim jeans or beach type/cargo type (including ¾ length shorts) are not.

Socks must be above the height of the ankle when wearing shorts, and must be predominantly white. Golf shoes (soft or hard spikes) must be worn on the course but are not permitted in the restaurant areas of the Clubhouse or the bar.

Dining

The Clubhouse has every facility required for changing into and from golfing apparel so that changing in the car park is unnecessary.

When dining in the main restaurant a shirt, jacket and tie is expected unless players are continuing golf where only a change of shoes is required.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are permitted on the golf course provided they are kept on silent, and used only in emergencies. Please keep your phones on silent while in the clubhouse, and take any calls outside. Wi-fi is available in the clubhouse for your convenience, please ask a member of the bar staff for details.
